The Dastardly Gentleman


I think one of my goals in life is going to be to write a romance novel. I think they're hilarious and writing something so over-the-top dramatic and dirty would be really freeing. And just think of the cover options! Problem is, I don't read them, at all, and I feel like I would need to in order to write one. Guess I'll either need to get on that, or reinvent the genre.

Step 1: Create a Mary Sue protagonist
Step 2: Create an unrealistic man
Step 3: Have them do it whilst saying cheesy porn phrases and wearing clothing items that sound Victorian even if the story is set in 1998
Step 4: Repeat step 3 ad infinitum.

Congratulations, you just wrote your first romance novel.

If you want to be really creative, do it in a Choose Your Own Adventure format.

Oh man, a Choose Your Own Adventure one would be awesome and sort of like a Hentai game then haha.
